Aunt Sandra died only 4 days before her birthday, and the funeral was held at Amite & Kentwood's Mckeenly Funeral Home.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Spears and Covington families. From what Ive seen and heard of Aunt Sandra, She was a sweet sweet lady!!

Sandra Bridges Covington passed away at 1:15 a.m. on Sunday, January 21, 2007 at her home in Greensburg at the age of 59 years. She was a native of Magnolia, MS. Visitation at First United Methodist Church, Amite, from 8:30 a.m. until religious services at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. Services conducted by Rev. Brady Whitton. Interment Tangipahoa Cemetery, Tangipahoa. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Reggie Covington, Greensburg; daughter, Laura Lynne Covington, Greensburg; 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, Todd and Jamie Covington, Kentwood and Rick Covington, Pearl River; granddaughter, Hannah Claire Covington, Kentwood; sister, Lynne Spears, Kentwood; brother and sister-in-law, Barry and Wanda Bridges, Kentwood; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dick and Libby Covington, Amite; nieces and nephews, Brent and Dawn Covington, Amite, Brian Covington, Amite, Bryan Spears, New York, NY, Britney Spears, Los Angeles, CA, Jamie Lynn Spears, Kentwood, Kevin Bridges, Boston, MA, Brittany Leonard, Kentwood, Blake Leonard, Kentwood, Barret Bridges, Kentwood, and Blaine Bridges, Kentwood; special friend, Kathy Bridges, Amite.
